This is how the work week began:
It was a decent week. The morning clerk is on vacation, so I covered all of the early shifts, came home, ate dinner, then went to bed.
Seriously. That's pretty much the entire week.
John had a birthday!
I think I am back "in" with Lily.
We played Hide and Seek, we had a tea party, we got pedi's, and we successfully went to the store and got snacks.
As long as I don't say "butthole" again, we should remain friends.
It has rained.
Every day. All night.
One day the sun came out for a minute and we all sparkled like the Cullen's.
On the third day I called Scott right as I got home and he brought out his work boots because my work shoes kept going under water when I stepped out of my car, and right at the walkway.
I haven't combed my hair in a week.
I finished 2 books this week, tallying my goal of 50 books this year to 3/50.
Uh....really don't have anything for 5.
We're going to paint the bedroom next Wednesday?
Callie stole and ate all of Scott's peanut butter wafers?
There are currently 37 Asian beetles STILL alive in my kitchen?
Oh wait! Something did happen.
I was sitting in my little room, window wide open, enjoying the semi-cool breeze when something flew in the window.
There had been no rain, no thunder, nothing. Just this sudden hail.
After it stopped, the sky looked like this for a minute...
There were tornado sirens, lots of wind, but nothing major happened.
A town away though, they got it bad.
I was on the elliptical when the tornado clouds were forming, and the siren went off, so I know that was Jesus coming to save my dying soul on that machine.
Until next week.
I enjoy sports, binge watching TV, food, reading, and slightly bearded men.
