I think Spring has arrived. The wasps are out. Tuesday I spent the day with Rebecca and Lily. It was a good Lily day. Bailey and I spent Friday together. Best Dollar General trip ever. During lunch, I thieved her phone and stole a BUNCH of pics: DeeJay's last day was Tuesday. We surprised her with a cake and a little going away party. She cried. I cried. I HAVE FEELINGS!!!!! More tears!! Shon received a dozen roses "just because". DAWWWWWW!!!!!!!! Now this.....this stuff right here. NO. Just no. I liked the idea of it, and MAYBE if I had gotten the Sweetened instead of Unsweetened...just maybe. I can't even begin to describe the taste. It's chillin in my fridge if you want it. These....the first bite I did not like it. It tastes like the fat that you cut off of a steak. Kind of gristly and fatty. The second bite I didn't care for either. However, I was in a crunchy mood, and it's all that was there. These things. Oh my. Like...eat the whole bag good. I may have purchased two..... I was trying to clean up Scott's laptop so I can give it back to him, since I bought a new one for me.I cleaned it literally, it was covered in toast crumbs. BUT, I was trying to get all of my junk off of it, and I bought a flash drive to transfer all of the pictures I have saved. Let me remind you most all of the pictures I take I upload to Shutterfly or store in my Gmail. These are the leftovers. Sunday (beginning at midnight) was a no good terrible day. This girl made it better. Today was Bailey's last volleyball game. Ever. Like....ever. When she graduates in May, I will be a ball of nerves. The greatest thing that happened all week?
Several weeks ago @everydaytrish Instagrammed a pic of Crispy M&M's. I commented on how I could not find them anywhere here. She asked for my address, and said she would mail me some. I got it today!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I know places all over the country experienced weird weather as we did this week, but I still can't comprehend it! When I went to work Wednesday it was in the upper 70's. All day we sweated and ran the ac. I came home and it was 78 degrees inside the house. I turn on the air, ate dinner, and laid down to read. I wake up in the morning and it is sleeting, and it's 29 degrees. I am determined to catch up on my reading. Saying this, I have several new books to add to that list. Now I will never finish. :) The Girl on the Train- Paula Hawkins American Sniper- Chris Kyle Red Rising- Pierce Brown All the Light We Cannot See- Anthony Doerr I am still reading: The Last Anniversary- Liane Moriarty Victim Six- Gregg Olson Lord of the Rings- J.R.R. Tolkien The Six Sacred Stones- Matthew Reilly (rereading for the 4th time) Hidden- Casey Hill A Dirty Shame- Liliana Hart Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban- JK Rowling (reread, 3rd time) Mr. Mercedes- Stephen King First Case- Roger Stelljes Chasing the Ripper- Patricia Cornwell A Sudden Light- Garth Stein The Butterfly Sister- Amy Gail Hansen Flesh and Blood- Patricia Cornwell Leaving Time- Jodi Picoult Message from Nam- Danielle Steel (reread) Twisted Vine- Toby Neal The Great Zoo of China- Matthew Reilly Reshaping it All- Candace Cameron Bure UnEnchanted- Chanda Hahn The Leaving of Things- Jay Antani The Legend of Devil's Creek- D.C. Alexander Dead Until Dark- Charlaine Harris The Bookmaker- Chris Fraser And I know when I check my emails from Bookbub and Pencil of Ink that I will add so many more free books to that mix. I am so behind on new movies and all of my tv shows, I don't think I will ever catch up. I am proud to announce that I am down a pants size. I celebrated with pizza from Walmart's deli, and a cup of guacamole :) Stolen family pics.... Here is it 12 days after I started this blog and I have gotten nowhere. Okay let's see. It's cold. And rainy. I have zero space on my DVR to record any shows or sports because I am never home to watch anything. Of all the books I am reading, I am really into The Girl on the Train. I had this amazing recipe last night and I gobbled it all down before I was able to blog it. OOH!!!! I am trying to stop drinking Dt. Mtn. Dew. This has been an interesting 2 weeks. I have become completely obsessed with The Pioneer Woman. Maybe it's her pleasant and quirky personality. Maybe it's her husband :) I have been working on this blog on and off for two weeks, and I keep adding stuff, so I am just going to throw it all in here, no organization whatsoever. I promise to do better. I am slowly losing weight. I miss caffeine. And cheeseburgers. I hate exercising.
The end. The biggest news of this week is the passing of Leonard Nimoy The white and gold dress: But more importantly, Little Texas AND Mumford and Sons have a new album coming out soon!!!! I bought several new books this week, but I have not got a chance to even take a peek! I still have books that I am reading from six months ago. Lately as soon as I get half a chapter in on any book, I am asleep. I have been looking around for a small laptop. All I need it for it at work to connect to the internet, emailing/responding to Guests, and maybe sorta upload my iTunes to it. I hate lugging my laptop all over the place, it isn't very portable. Some days when I get home I don't even want to have to lug it out of the bag, plug it in...sheesh. Life is so hard. Here is a selfie....within a selfie: I saw this article about the worst 80's hair styles.... I cooked!! Crab Rangoon Dip So that is pretty much all I have this week.
My hair is still 50 Shades of Gray, work was good, Lily acknowledged my existence when I visited. Song of the week: Anyone But You- Hinder I leave you with a picture of Megan and I- she tries so hard to be a thinner, better hair, beautiful version of me. |
