It's finally October!!!!
Mums, and Pumpkins, and Scarecrows oh my!!!!!
The month began busy at work, we are short handed, and everyone is trying to take their vacation before the cutoff dates.

In Which I Live Off the Land <<<blog
On Saturday the 11th, I did something I have not done in many a month. I worked a 3-11 desk shift at work.
I hope you enjoy your vacation, Ariel-Marie.......
It was very slow and uneventful until around 9:30.
I smelled many drunks, much body odor, cleaned up glass, bandaged a bloody finger, and even got a contact high from marijuana.
I am not cut out for this shift.
Granted it isn't always like this, we had 2 groups in from 2 very different walks of life.
I am glad they are gone, and life can go back to normal.
Expedition Unknown is back!!!!
I pulled a muscle in my left shoulder blade. It hurt to breathe. It hurt to move. IT even hurt to sit. I got two gnarly patches of Icy Hot to stick on them, and 4 Ibuprofen later, I was good as new.
SnapChat has new features....
I am having too much fun with this.
Lily went to the fair!
For my vacation, I went to New Orleans!!!
New Orleans 2015 <<<blog
We went to Shreveport and pigged out at Sumo.
9 hours later I was still full.
Of course we had to make a Target run.
I discovered this song, as always years after it came out, and I cannot stop listening to it.
It has PG-13 lyrics...
There were football parties.....
Lily carved a "kiki" pumpkin but had no interest in taking a picture with it
So here, on Facebook, is these people's Guest room:
And here is mine.
Well let me just roll out the welcome mat.
You want to know why you can't see anything?
That's how high the junk is piled.
I cooked! Kinda.
The Ramen Noodle Chronicles
These glasses really get around...
Two more people had them on, and I MISSED IT!!!!!
I know I mentioned a while back about the passing of a wonderful man, Reverend J.D. McNeal. I have been blessed to have his family in my life, for the majority of my life.
I know I will get the details wrong, so I copied a post that his granddaughter Katie posted about him receiving France's highest honor.
Many people were taking pictures, myself included, and I picked out the best ones to share. I wish I could give credit to the right people, but honestly, I have no idea who took what.
Here is the link in the Alexandria Times:

It's the last day of the month!!! A VERY long month!!!!
It rained relentlessly, and I was able to keep the door open and get some fresh air in the house.
Below is a collection of Halloween-related things I stole today.
So there you go. My very long October blog post. I won't see you again until the end of November because I used a months worth of internet data writing this one.
I enjoy sports, binge watching TV, food, reading, and slightly bearded men.
