Monday- This is going to be a busy week. Work was good, got off, went to see the fam. I was sad to hear of Joe Cocker's passing. He was truly amazing and I would listen to him sing the phone book. On the way home from work, this was how it went: Scott- Joe Cocker died. Me- Yeah, I read that. I have been singing his songs all day. Scott- I only know that one song. Me: Which one? Scott- I can't remember the name. The one that Metallica covered. Me- *cricket chirp* Me- Oh my God. You're thinking of 'Turn the Page'! THAT WAS BOB SEGER!! Scott- same thing Me- ENGLAND......DETROIT........NOT THE SAME! Tuesday- We delivered Christmas gifts to businesses in Natchitoches. I thought I was going to die. *insert stereotypical Asian driver rant here* Wednesday- Merry Christmas Eve!!! Went home, and Scott insisted I open the medium sized box. Pretty much the only gift I didn't know I was getting. We then went to Tracy's for some nom nom: Thursday- Like seriously, not one picture on my phone turned out. It was so windy, hair was everywhere, so cold. I am hoping Rebecca got at least one good one on her camera. Friday- Cleaning house day. So much paper and boxes. Saturday- Yet another day of sloth, rain, and grocery shopping. The Stars won!! Sunday- Everyone knows that Rebecca's cat Sassie and I have always had a love/hate relationship. She never has liked me, I tolerated her. When Lily was born, Sassie came to live with me. She has turned our house and lives upside down. Just this month I messaged Rebecca, "omg, what is the life expectancy on this cat!". Then she kept running outside, she has never been outside before. We were having to crawl under the house to get her back in. One day she ran out and was just chilling on the back steps: I knew earlier in the week she was definitely acting strange. She wouldn't really eat, she would just stay either in our bathroom or lay in the litter box. So now I am just keeping an eye on her. I don't want her to die alone.
I did not sign up to be having feelings and junk. Sassie lost the fight during the night. My mother came to get her this morning. I wept. So here is to Sassie, may she enjoy ham and bologna in Kitty Heaven. Enjoy this picture of her licking a door hinge.

Monday- Long Long Monday Tuesday- - was a heartless wench. I was so excited that I was going to get to leave after 8 hours. Then 11am hit. The computers quit. Stopped. Sucked. We were sitting ducks. People wanted to check out. People wanted to check in. People wanted to make reservations. People wanted to cancel reservations. No one understood that we could not do anything! The computers WERE NOT WORKING! Grown ass people looked at us with a confused look saying they didn't understand. Around 4pm my tooth began to hurt. My 9pm I knew I was going to vomit from pain. I went home, not wanting to leave the hotel, but there was nothing I could do. I was really stressed and worried about work, but was trying to be strong and supportive, but I really wanted to cry. When I opened the front door, and saw what the dog did, I cried in sobs. . Like, real tears. I got in bed, got comfy, then I got the text that the repairman was there, and very shortly, that we were back up and running. I throw on shoes, jump in the truck.....and it died right there in the driveway. Finally got to the hotel and stayed until 11:30pm. Awesome ladies at the front desk got us through it. Wednesday- I drug into work at 7:30am. I really just wanted to close my door the entire 12 hours, but I had to talk to people and junk. Lily had to go back to the doctor, they thought she as getting sick like last time, but it was just an ear infection. I sat with them a few hours (because I forgot my house key!!), and she would cry and laugh in the same breath. So ready for a day to do nothing. Thursday- Lots to do. Today was Christa's last day, she will be graduating Northwestern tomorrow, so we had a little get together. On an unrelated note, enjoy this clip of Goats that scream like humans Friday- OMG. If you have met my youngest sister Bailey, you will know that this conversation is the normal, want to pull your hair out discussion with her: We were discussing going to Alexandria, and it was pouring rain, and my mom's car has a weird tire: AND THEN...... It really didn't end there. We ended up debating in my driveway, drove to the store, stood in the rain, AND in a mud puddle that covered my shoes, put air in the tire, put gas in it, then had to drive to Natchitoches because I had to stop at the hotel for a minute, THEN, whilst leaving the hotel we had the entire conversation of "DO YOU WANT TO GO, BAILEY!', to which she replied "It doesn't matter". I get on I-49, and we had the discussion again at exit 127. We finally made it to the mall, and I say "okay, where do you need to go, and who do you need to shop for" "I don't know", she replied. And then I killed her. The end. But yeah, it was a good trip. When I got home I realized I had 20 gifts and I can't wrap. In comes Rebecca. Saturday- Absolutely nada. I watched Titanic, again with commentary, and a whole other Titanic documentary. Sunday- Laid in bed until work time, came to work, did stuff, went home and resumed my place on the couch. Hockey was amazeballs, they won in Sudden Death. Scott and I went to look at Christmas Lights (again), and you can see where people have it set up, but not turned on . I can't live like this people!!! Scott said I couldn't blog this, because I was always mocking him, but at least I am going to tell his side first. He was helping me hang up clothes, and I found a skirt that I just bought, and didn't really have a top to go with it. I was trying different things, and he said "hey, what about that shirt I just hung up?" And I said "This one?!?" Now. In his defense, he really only remembered the shirt had yellow in it. But still. I was hiding my face and ratchet hair. So, that's pretty much my week. Getting ready for Christmas and stuff. I actually didn't steal that many pictures from The Facebook this week. TOODLES!
Monday- I am not going to go into detail about the annoying issue I have going on with my body, but it is horrid, weird, and I wouldn't wish it on anyone. Just pity me. I have my own story. Our loveseat is a hideous mess, so I bought a brown slipcover, and also a purple pet protector. I washed them both, heard the dryer got off, and asked Scott if he would, and I quote, "put them on the loveseat". He did. Tuesday- If you know me, you know I never call into work. I never leave sick. I tough it out. But yeah....I didn't make it today. I laid on my back and yelled and whined. It got better the longer the day went. Rebecca came and put up the outside lights and my classy flamingo. Wednesday- The day was cool, I just couldn't sleep. At 1am I am Snapchatting people. Thursday- LOOOONG overwhelming day. Friday- When I say I spent 88% of the day in the chair, I spent 88% of the day in the chair. I slept until after 10, the Nyquil kicked my butt. I sat down, started a movie, watched it. I did some laundry, dusted, then right back in the chair. Saturday- I worked today. Boo. Scott ran errands for me. I have a mysterious gift under the tree. I keep eyeballing it trying to figure it out. I don't remember asking to anything in a medium sized box. Sunday- Went early to Leesville, then onto work. I texted Rebecca and told her that I was having the worst seven days ever, I haven't seen Lily since the 6th, and I really needed a picture of her. And then I melted from happiness: So we have reached the point of the blog where I share pics I either stole from Facebook or on the web.
Monday- Christmas Party at work!! Most of the pictures I took with the hotel camera, but I did snap a few with my phone: I racked up! I got a gift card, Spicy Nacho Doritos, candles, bath stuff, and my Christmas Bonus! Tuesday- Meh. One of those days that you just want to clock out and go home. I made it though. *In Christina Aguilara's voice* WOOOORK CAN'T BRING ME DOOOOOWN......" Sickness however, can bring me down. I just want to lay down wrapped up in a blanket. Drinking Mucinex and Nyquil. Wednesday- After a dose of Nyquil, I can't tell you much about the next 12 hours. Thursday- OMG. Old people tour. I think I got home at 9pm. And can we discuss horrid sharp pain in my foot? FRIIIIIIDAY!!!! HAPPY BIRTHDAY BAILEY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! She is 17 today. As in, not 3 years old anymore. It is also the busiest day of the year for hotels in Natchitoches. The Christmas Festival weekend. I think I left at 7pm. Scott had to go back twice because on the busiest day of the year, of course the big dryer decides to not work. Stopped by Mother's, sang Happy Birthday to Bailey, ate some cake. THEN, we went to the Walmart and got her gift, and this classy flamingo: I just happen to run into the people that live across from me, so I was able to tell them first hand about me classing up the neighborhood. Finally get home and in bed around midnight. Saturday: FESTIVAL DAY!!!!!! We went home right after the parade, watched Alabama football, then went to sleep. Sunday was a long work day. All of those thousands of people that come into town for the festival? Yeah, they stayed at our hotel. It was a nuthouse. Once I got home, I ate dinner and went straight to bed. Didn't even care it was still light outside. I am glad I didn't stay awake to see that guy NOT get eaten on tv. I leave you this week with Facebook images I jacked from other people. TOODLES.! !
I am pretty sure that I have the Bird Flu. Perhaps it's just sinus drainage or a cold. Either way I have a sore throat. Not cool. Dirty Little Secrets by Liliana Hart My rating: 4 of 5 stars I love this character! She reminds me of how I would handle situations, and the storyline was entertaining. I am excited to read more from this series! View all my reviews .... Watched The Iron Bowl Saturday. Mostly I was like.... But then it ended well. I just finished The Walking Dead. OMG. Like, OMG. Here is Brad's Blog: Blogging Dead That's all of can think of from this week.
