This is my absolute favorite month of the year!!!!!!
To make it even more special, today the temps are amazing! I am going to stay outside all day, and open the windows and doors in the house!
Just kidding, I have to work.
It's a doozy too, we have a school checking out, a school checking in, and every one and their Granny trying to check in 4 hours early.
Last night Lily went to the Natchitoches Fair. I hated to miss it, but I went to a wake, and then to hear Bailey play at the Robeline Heritage Festival.
I took one picture....
Rebecca took a bunch of Lily at the Fair. I snagged a couple.
After church this morning, we went to eat at Chili's.
Lily was most behaved and well mannered.
JK, she danced in a chair and rolled around on the floor.
I finished a book:
Miss Priss had a birthday!!
Most of our attempted pictures turned out like this. Someone's eyes were closed, someone's head stuck out too far, Lily had her finger in her eye, you could see a hair bubble, they were blurry......
So we are now a cat-free home. I feel really bad about it, I slightly miss her, but I have had enough.
I am also the proud new owner of an iPhone 6. Because I no longer have an iPod.
I never went into the room that we kept her in during the day. When I would get home from work I would pour food and water in her kitchen bowl, crack open the door, and she would come running out. I never looked in the room, I knew it probably smelled like her litter box, so I entrusted Scott to take care of the room.
I will spare you the disgusting details, but I threw away so many litter jugs, tubs, boards, an old dresser, and swept and swept, and vacuumed, and mopped, and spot mopped.
I sprayed the walls. I primed the walls. I PAINTED the walls. Minus 2 walls, Rebecca helped me there.
So I am now the proud owner of "the middle room". Everything is mismatched, but the room is all mine. I can see outside and open the window!! The complete opposite of how Scott would have it, covered with black plastic and welded shut. His daddy would hang quilts over the windows, so he gets it honest.
Lily "helped" get the room ready.
We went on vacation!!!! Read about it here <<<<<
We took Lily to the Riverbank to take Fall pictures.
How about no.....
She wasn't feeling it.
A few turned out okay.
In NASCAR news, my driver Brad Keselowski blew an engine today, so any hopes of winning the Cup this season are zero.
And how about the Cubs going to the World Series?
A billionaire bad guy running for President and the Cubs a World Series contender?
What realm am I in?
Let's call this the "and everything else" section:
This story cracked me up:
Couple Encounters a Black Metal Band during Engagement Photo Shoot
This guy made me LOL. ^^^^^^^^^^^^
And then I read this article. This is it. This is how I go:
Patient's fart causes fire in Japanese operating theatre
International Business Times October 29, 2016
A patient breaking wind during a surgical procedure sparked a fire that caused her to be seriously burnt, according to Japanese media reports.
The fire occurred at Tokyo Medical University Hospital in Shinjuku Ward on 15 April, reported the Asia News Network.
The patient, in her 30s, was undergoing an operation that involved applying a laser to her cervix, the lower part of the uterus.
The laser was reportedly ignited by the gas she passed and she suffered burns to her waist and legs, said a report by a committee of external experts who examined the case.
It found no fault with the equipment used in the surgery.
"When the patient's intestinal gas leaked into the space of the operation [room], it ignited with the irradiation of the laser, and the burning spread, eventually reaching the surgical drape and causing the fire," the report said.
We had a good amount of trick or treaters. I only took pics of two, so I had to steal some :)
So ends my favorite month!!!
It was a good one!
I enjoy sports, binge watching TV, food, reading, and slightly bearded men.
