I super duper would love to get rid of this cough and congestion. Let's see what happened this week. Krystin is leaving Hampton for a fancy schmancy bank job. A Facebook conversation on her leaving. Edited, for so many reasons.... Krystin- It sucks, I can't use the excuse that we are just coworkers when you embarrass me. Me: I can't wait! Now you have to admit you like me for MEEE! Krystin- Ugh, my life just got worse. Me- :) Krystin- **tongue sticking out pic** Me- Well that's going on the blog. Krystin- NOOOOOO! Not the oh so famous blog! Me- I have 34 subscribers, yo! I am pretty much Oprah. Krystin- OKRA!!! LOL I bought a new shirt, tried it on, it was a little big, but didn't feel too bad. A couple of hours into my shift it was really being a problem, it was so large and heavy it felt like a sack! I finally went all 80's and tied it to the side. I texted Megan that I was kicking it 80's style, and she replied "RAD! If you're going all 80's, might as well speak the lingo!", so I replied, "might as well have the hair!!" We went to Bailey's game. She and two other Seniors were acknowledged. Excuse me while I bawl. Friday morning, my hair....I don't even think I can explain my hair. It was so foofy!! I Snapchatted it, sent it to most everyone. And then..... Bailey and I went to town, was sitting at El Nopal, and Scott called to say that the truck would not crank. Way to ruin a good day. We ran into Walmart, grabbed the stuff I needed, then *attempted* to make a copy of house keys. We are probably Youtube sensations now. I then went to where Scott was broken down, he took the starter to O'Reilly's for them to tell him nothing was wrong with it. Luckily, I had a backup plan: It took him maybe two minutes to diagnose what was wrong (a grounded out wire? Plug?), Scott crawled under there and fixed it? Plugged it in? And then I was on my way home. I cooked! Creamy Buffalo Chicken Dip I cooked again! (kind of) Daddy Tom's Meat and Rice Sunday was Krystin's kinda last day at work. I stole the idea off of Pinterest, and Ariel made the card :) And then she left. And I cried. And she cried. Stupid feelings. A couple of blogs I have read lately go on talking about the simple, little things that make them happy, and sometimes take for granted. Today my good thing is the hour, sometimes two hours (depending on when I wake up, LOL) when I get to work and have quiet time. The days are so noisy, with people, and questions, and emails, and phone calls. That one hour I can just come in, do my work, and get ready for the day. Some days I have an entire day's work finished before anyone besides front desk shows up. Sometimes that hour looks like this: There were two things that made the Superbowl worth watching- Tweets like these.. And Richard Sherman's face when they lost. I only stole 3 pictures this week.... I leave you this week with me getting ready for work this morning.
Welcome to Whoville....
