Today was tragic. I knew the turkey links I have been eating for 36 days were too good to be true.
Low in fat, carbs, calories....but not sodium. I am talking over 3300 mg in sodium.
Raise your hand if you have high blood pressure ^^^^^
I ate half of the box today and will eat the other half tomorrow morning, and then I will have to find something else.
Atkins meal for lunch.
Rebecca's Cheesy Hamburger Bake for dinner.
Leftover turkey links
Slices of ham, tuna, broccoli.
Dinner was yum. I cut up chicken, cooked it with spices and avocado oil.
I steamed broccoli, carrots, and cauliflower in a bag.
Threw it all together in the skillet with Ragu Classic Alfredo sauce.
Morning blood sugar was 283.
It's never going down. I am convinced.
Walked 6 laps.
Scott brought me a Hardee's Chicken biscuit with cheese. And then I killed him.
I gave him the biscuit, and picked off most of the breading. It was fabulous.
Lunch was a Spicy Caesar Salad from Wendy's, minus the yummy croutons.
Dinner was leftover chicken, with hummus and veggie chips.
A.M. Blood sugar was 260.
So...I weighed this morning. Total loss from Day 1....12 pounds.
I didn't believe it because of the sketchy scale. But I did it 3 more times all over the house, and it was correct.
Breakfast was hummus, veggie chips, and the turkey & cheese out of a Lunchable.
Lunch was a Chef's Special from Chef Wok. Chicken, shrimp, and pork in very light sauce. I avoided rice and soy sauce.
Dinner was an omelet and fish.
I am also CPR certified now :)
A.M. blood sugar was 260.
A combo of hummus/veggie chips and ham/egg/cheese scramble for breakfast.
Leftover Chinese for lunch.
Dinner was one and a half pork chops, with roasted squash. I cooked 4, so don't think I just stole half of Scott's one chop :)
Walked 1 mile on the track, and got on the elliptical for 11 minutes.
Hey, I barely did any of that I feel so bad.
Curse you, sinuses!
I woke up starving, but had to go to work a lot sooner than I anticipated, so I microwaved a Western omelet, and also melted some shredded cheese on turkey slices.
Now not once did I think "hey, you're going to be at work for 10 hours, you better take something for lunch!!"
I did have time to throw together dinner.
Slow Cooker Spectacular Cube Steak (will write the blog and attach the link soon)
I remember eating breakfast. I have no idea what I did eat.
Lunch was Cactus Chicken with steamed veggies.
Dinner was just sad, haha. It was raining, I was so tired from a long work day, Scott called after 13 hours of work and said he had to work 3 more...
I scrounged up turkey slices, and ate them melted in a Carb Smart tortilla with Veggie Straws.
Here's to another week of no pizza and sandwiches!!!!
