When I went to bed last night I had in my head, all of the meals planned for this week. I work 12pm to 8pm today, so I knew that I would have plenty of time to get up and make breakfast.
I slept in, took a shower, put clothes in the washer, and then realized that I needed to go to the bank before work. Microwaved turkey links it was.
Lunch was a scrumptious Atkins microwaved meal. I will be getting more of those.
Dinner....Sriracha chicken salad.
When I weighed this morning, the sketchy scale said that I was down 4 pounds.
We shall see.
Breakfast was good, these are easy to grab and go.
Lunch was leftover chicken from last nights salad.
We walked on the track tonight.
Dinner was a mushroom and cheese omelet.
This is the first day that I was really snacky. I bet I snacked on 1/4 jar of nuts that are supposed to be for my salad.
Breakfast was nontraditional, but good.
It is pack of tuna, mashed avocado, and a drop of mayo. I love to eat it with crackers, but today I ate it with just a fork.
Lunchtime I was starving like Marvin. We went to El Nopal, and I got steak fajitas, mainly because it comes with pico and guacamole. I told Scott that I was NOT going to eat any of the tortillas.
They must have known that I was struggling, because they never brought any tortillas, LOL. I know I would have gobbled them up! So I ate all of the meat and veggies, and gave the Spanish rice and beans to Scott.
Dinner was Hamburger Steak and mashed cauliflower. I went back for seconds on the cauliflower.
We walked an extra lap tonight to counteract all of those nuts!
I have been having pain in my heel and shins. My body isn't used to exercise.
Rebecca suggested that we start jogging.
Then I killed her.
Around 11pm my stomach was rumbling, so I ate a couple pieces of prosciutto and mozzarella.
I STILL have not made the things that I bought for breakfast all week. I grabbed one of the apple/cheese/nut combos.
Lunch was grilled shrimp, a little coleslaw, and *gasp* hot wings.
I had to work late, so I didn't get to walk on the track. Granted I could have worked out on the elliptical, but I was in the bed by 8:30pm.
Dinner was Fried Broccoli and steak.
Since I went to bed so early I didn't shower, prepare my meals, laundry, nothing.
I woke up, took a quickie shower, grabbed the least wrinkled thing that matched in the closet, grabbed hummus, veggie chips, and an entire bag of frozen chicken and was out the door.
Breakfast was alright, I didn't eat much. I cooked the lunchtime chicken just as the package suggested, and it was meh.
And then dinner came....
How Not to Make Shrimp Enchiladas
I am perturbed that for 2 Fridays in a row, my cheat meal has been horrid.
It was so cold and I was so achy that I went to bed with no thought whatsoever of exercise.
I am afraid to even step on the sketchy scale.
I didn't eat right yesterday or exercise, and it makes me feel like crap.
Breakfast this morning was turkey links, and lunch was spinach salad with some of the thawed out chicken I prepared last week.
I love these things!! They give you a great crunch in your salad, very little sodium and fat.
We walked our butts off tonight. 6 laps, and our best time ever!
I made Roasted Garlic Parmesan Veggies for dinner.
I was really discouraged when I got on the sketchy scale this morning. I am back to my original weight.
What the nuts?
I at least expected one pound lost.
I had church this morning, and as always I skipped breakfast.
Lunch was Cactus Chicken, steamed veggies, and Caesar Salad. I snuck in 3 croutons.
When I got home I had the worst headache, watched The Fault in Our Stars and some of the Superbowl.
Scott wanted snacks, so for my dinner I had roasted turkey and cheese on an English Muffin, an avocado, and I used the leftover veggies from last night to dip into Pine Nut Hummus.
Yes I know English Muffins have carbs, but they have the least carbs that I have found.
So that is my week.
