Well we started off the month with a road trip. June Road Trip. I really outdo myself in naming these things. It was fun. We had a small outline of what we wanted to do, and then just went with it. Didn't plan on buying a tire, but just grateful to have the funds to do so. Jared sang, talked, and made noises. A lot.
One of my favorite moments was when I didn't want to climb the tower, I wanted to go to the lookout point, I turn around, and Jared is pouting on the ground. I giggled.
I got to be a train conductor, which was kind of worth the trip
I am already ready to go back.
Levi and Lily are perfect as ever. I'd like to say we took Lily to a reptile show at the library, but we all know that we went for me. I've been digging in old pictures, I was the cutest Puerto Rican boy. Father's Day. Jared needs way more than one day to be celebrated. It hurts my heart loving him so much. He is the absolute best when it comes to being a daddy.
Thaaaaaaaaaaat's enough crying.
I didn't grace the world with many Tik Tok's this month. Just a couple during vacation, and a friendly reminder from your local driving instructor.
R rated language.
Don't let Levi fool you. He hated the watermelon.
Picture it. Clouds. Slight wind. Rain. The power goes out for a day and a half.
Whiskers likes it. All of the windows open, he can chill. Lily created all of us an avatar in her game. I am a Princess. Jared is a peasant. BUT!!!! at least he made the game.
The possum that absolutely lives outside is growing so big.
So at work, we stop for break halfway at French Market. 10/10 recommend. When I got there this particular day, the employees were like OMG, there is a dude in here that os 100% Jared. I didn't see it at first, but yeah. Brown hair, beard, phone case on the side, gun on the hip, knife in the pocket, another knife on the back belt, camo cap, and alas, a boy and a girl child. I know he thought I was stalking him, but it was uncanny. All I could say was, "Jared doesn't shave his arms." Online, there have been countless jokes and memes made about the passengers on the submarine that died going to the Titanic wreck site. When I first heard that the sub was missing, I said "well that's what they get for going without me". Billionaires, too much money, bored, decided to go 2.5 miles down into the Atlantic. I realized that there would have to be someone onboard that had been there before. I see that it's Paul-Henri Nargeolet :. He is one of the most experienced and well known Titanic historians out there. I think 33 dives to the Titanic in his lifetime? I have seen all of the documentaries, read all of his articles. It hit different. Not to take away from the other passengers that died when the sub exploded, but it was a lot less amusing. I don't think Paul would have gotten in a sub that he felt was unsafe. No matter, they lost their lives, and I hate that. I have mentioned before that I have lost family members, my dad, a husband, grandparents, but when you lose a friend, someone your age, it hits a little different. Mule left us way too soon. I think everyone got a different version of him. I know he was in physical pain. He lost his parents, never married. He was my WWE person. It's been weeks and I still pick up my phone to message him. I know he is happy to reunite with his parents, given you believe it's true. I do. Toodles.

We took a 3 day road trip through Arkansas, Oklahoma, and touched in on Missouri and Texas. We left Sunday after church and came back late Tuesday night.
Now I took a lot of pictures from a moving vehicle either as the driver or a passenger, and yes. I know that all of the pictures of the mountains are just trees, (I am looking at you, Rebecca), and the pictures are a 2/10, while viewing it in person is a 10. Highly, highly recommend seeing all of this in person. Also this was a month ago today, so I don't remember a lot of specifics except that Jared talked and made noises a lot, and it rained.
Right as we got into Missouri, we stopped on the outskirts of Branson at Table Rock State park and had lunch.
One of my favorite moments in Mena, AR was we arrived at Buffalo River Canyon, and Jared goes OH! We can climb the tower! I said you climb the tower and I'll go to the lookout. He lets go of my hand, I turn around, and he was pouting on the grass. One thing that I love about traveling with Jared, is he is a lot like me. I like to ride around and just look. While already on a back country road, he turned down another country road, and we ended up on a switchback. Also maybe stopped in an unapproved area to take pictures halfway down a sinking mountainside with pretty flowers. Again, driving down the road, I can't remember the name of it, but it said "Lake something Resort". So we roll up in there, and it is was abandoned. There were former restaurants, an arcade, apartments, single houses, a store, a post office, a church, and a large recreational area. No people. Lots and lots of concrete. We rolled up on a really old cemetery. I remember being in Eureka Springs and getting turned around for 90 minutes. We got home late and didn't have time to eat anywhere, so we ate sandwiches from the cooler :) When we got back from like 13 hours of driving, the car had a bad spot on the tire, possibly from driving through river bottoms. No worries. On the day we had to come home, we got up early, headed to the tire place, and for real spent hours there. We got there when they opened, but there was only one tech until 11, and that's about the time they started on it. No worries, though. I talked to every one that was sitting next to us until they moved somewhere else :) We hit the road, and headed towards Oklahoma. We rode the ridge below, and weaved in and out of Oklahoma and Arkansas. At the top of the mountainous ridge, we decided to stop for a picnic. Y'all. There was a train. And I got to be the conductor.
When we were leaving, we saw a resort with a lookout and a Lover's Leap trail.
We just kept riding the ridge. I think we topped out around 2,600 feet. We stopped at every lookout :)
And of course...
I took over 2,000 pictures and about 100 videos, but they're all pretty much the same. Jared and I sang a little. We are nothing, if not entertaining.
I leave you with Jared, walking across the floor.
