The Pioneer Woman, Martha Stewart, and June Cleaver ain't got nothing on this girl here. Y'all know that lady on Tik Tok (Hannah Lee) that's goes balls out making her husband's lunch every day? Yeah....that's not me. I mean I do make his lunch, his coffee, and lay his work clothes out, but that's just a little more than half ass. Today I tried something new. It took around an hour, but it's enough food for the week, and just some slight assembly the night before. Jared is at work from 6:45am-7pm, so I know he get's snacky and will need two meals. He is currently taking plain old ham sandwiches and little bags of chips. Let's jazz that up, shall we? First I made these Breakfast Burritos: Tortillas Bacon and sausage Shredded sharp cheddar Onion and bell pepper blend Eggs that we had to buy because the hens outside are freeloaders I cooked everything individually. Bacon in the oven at 375° for about 20 min. After the sausage and bacon were fully cooked and cut up into pieces with the food scissors, I scrambled it about on the stove for a few minutes. For the assembly: Assemble the food in the straightest line possible Wrap it up tight in the plastic wrap Then secure it with aluminum foil Do you want to know how many of these I assembled? One. Uno. The Child came along and asked "whatcha doing?" I was like "being domestic and shit". She goes "I can do it!!" Hell. Yeah. This amount of food made 11 burritos. Jared said heat up was easy. I also made some Spicy Cracker Mix: Cheez Its Bold Chex Mix Goldfish (a mixing bowls worth) 6 tbl butter 1 packet of dry Ranch Several shakes of dill Seasoned with onion powder, garlic powder, Lawry’s seasoning, no salt Cajun seasoning A swish or two of Worchestire sauce Heat oven to 300°. Mix the crackers up in a bowl. No rules. Whatever crackers you like. Season it up. Pour the butter and mix it all together. The dill and Worshasister sauce I added on a whim. Spray a flat baking pan, add the mixture, bake for 30 min. Very versatile, you can pizzaz it up however you like. Fun fact: Jared pronounces the sauce Woostasheer. I say Worsta-shire. It’s the Benedict Cumberbatch of sauces. That is pretty much it. Mix it all together and chow down. For the "To take to work for 12 hours breakfast lunch combo" I packed in 3 burritos, a baggie each of grapes, mixed nuts, peanut butter cookies, 2 fold over ham sandwiches, some of the cracker mix, and a chopped up apple. I tried to be boujee and fit it all in a plastic container, but the grapes and sandwiches would have been sqooshed. I will take my Honor's Trophy now.....
