This week has been a whirlwind, and on Tuesday I thought it was Thursday, so in no order whatsoever, here are the pics I took this week.
I leave you this week with... "The Dip" recipe
Saturday!!!! College Football Day!!!!!!!!
Oh and my mother's birthday.
The fam came over and we watched football and ate bunches of snacks.
Well....I watched football.....
I made the mistake of giving Lily an Oreo with Brownie Batter filling. Days later I am still finding chocolate in random places.
Alabama won, yo!
I have nothing to say about Sunday other than I stayed up late watching the race, and ate a bunch of leftovers.
In the next blog I will have a recipe for the most amazing dip.
Lily was all partied out....
Happy Labor Day!!!
The most absolutely boring day at work. Most everyone was at home, no one called, and I wanted to leave at 10:30. I made it to 3.
Rebecca, Steven, and Lily came over.
So many Ruffles.
She has me wrapped so hard around her finger.
Still finding chocolate everywhere.
This about sums up my day.
Casey, Hunter, and Brayden came to visit today.
Something miraculous happened.
Hunter.....spoke to me. We had a conversation.
Maybe he was excited about the dog, or the Bull Riding that was on tv, but nonetheless, we had words.
AND BRAYDEN! Words!! To me!!!
This was the greatest evening.
Ah, the joys of Motherhood.
Thursdays are my favorite day of the week because it is either payday, or my "Friday".
Tonight we had our Winners Dinner at Papa's Bar and Grill.
I possibly gorged myself on cheese sticks and fried oysters.
I had a salad too, you know, for balance.
It was a pretty chill week. Lily is a little sick, but all good. Work was slow, but good.
I still have a mound of clothes in the bedroom that is ruining my life.
Not much going on.
I leave you this week with stolen pictures from Josh Box:
I know I have them all out of order, but I just went and picked a few that I loved.
Saturday was a football day.
Like seriously, that is all I did. I didn't care who was playing.
I was watching the Braves get swept by the Yankees, and then a fan fell to his death.
And I went back to football.
I didn't even make my typical Saturday grocery run.
I stayed in the house for two days.
If Bailey had not come over Friday, it would have been a hermit life for sure.
Bailey and Dylan had a thrilling evening.....
Sunday was a very slow day at work again. I think I only stayed 4 hours.
I went to see the fam, and then came home and watched football.
I have become an addict.
Baseball is killing me this season.
The Braves have traded everyone.
But it was a good Lily day.
I spent a good part of Monday working on something only to have it erased.
I may or may not have said a four letter word.
It was a very good day though :)
When I left the hotel that night I heard something odd...
I found the culprit....
There MAY be something wrong with the sprinkler.
It was a good night :)
Tuesday was bittersweet.
Laura's last day and goodbye party.
I couldn't believe on Wednesday morning that the week was still dragging on.
This is why you shouldn't be on your phone when you can't hold your eyes open:
I said goodbye today to this fashionable yet very uncomfortable couch that I never sat on.
Thursday was a long work day.
Rebecca and Lily came over to watch the NSU game.
Bailey was at the game and kept us updated via SnapChat:
Lily kept us entertained at the house.
It may never recover....
Friday I was a sloth.
I started off on the couch at 10am, I rotated back and forth from couch to loveseat.
I watched 13 episodes of Elementary.
I started the dishes, and one load of laundry.
I made countless cups of coffee.
I leave you this week with probably the most accurate description of me and babies:
Tomorrow is the beginning of college football!!!!
I enjoy sports, binge watching TV, food, reading, and slightly bearded men.
