My attempt at trying to replicate my favorite dish at our local Asian buffet. What I used: 1lb of pre-cooked crab (the $3 pack) 12oz pre-cooked and deveined shrimp 1 4 oz jar of water chestnuts 1 regular-sized? bag of steamed broccoli MAYBE 1/3 cup of Parmesan garlic sauce (the store was out of Alfredo) I looked at the recipe to make the delish white sauce that they use at the buffet, but it had like 12 ingredients and required more than 4 steps, so I went the easy route. Easy steps! Season the shrimp with the spices that you like. I used pepper, garlic powder, a small shake of Lawry's, and an even smaller shake of sea salt. (we got hypertension, yo) Throw the crab straight from the pack into a medium heated skillet Put the steamed broccoli in the microwave, cook as directed. Make sure you drain every bit of water out of the bag. Add the shrimp, drained broccoli, drained water chestnuts to the crab. Stir. I added more garlic powder, and then the little bit of jarred parmesan/garlic sauce. Has anyone had trouble finding Alfredo sauce since the Quarantine? I turned the skillet to warm and then baked a batch of Cheesy Garlic "Bread". I let everything snuggle in the skillet for about 10 minutes, then I went to town. I topped with shaved parmesan and Scott sprinkled a little garlic pepper on it. No leftovers. Enjoy.
