This is super easy and delicious!! What I did:
Take half an onion and two gloves of garlic and throw them in the food processor. OR, if you're hardcore, chop them both real fine. Take 8oz of cream cheese, put in a cool lime green bowl, and put it in the microwave for about 45 seconds until it gets kind of mushy. Add half a cup of mayonnaise. HELLMANN'S of course! I can hear my mother gagging. Add a big squirt of Dijon mustard to the cream cheese, a swish or two of Worcestershire sauce, a couple of sprinkles of dry mustard, the onion/garlic mixture, and a shake or two of Tony Chachere's, along with a swish or two of lemon juice. I had bought an actual lemon from Unnamed Local Grocery Store, and it was fuzzy in 2 days. Sigh. I had lemon juice on hand.... As you can see by the picture, I used 16oz of Crab Meat, and it was way too much for the ingredients I had on hand. If I would have had about 1/2 a block more of cream cheese it would have been perfect to use two packs. It all worked out though, just a tad bit meaty. I added an extra tablespoon of mayo. Anyway, after it is all mixed together, stir in the crab meat until it is all blended well. Bake it on 350 for about 18 minutes. Enjoy.

So Laura brings me food to work the other day.
I scarfed it down in minutes. Very simple and dare I say country. One of her dad's concoctions. 1 lb beef 1 pack of smoked sausage A pack of yellow rice (as much as you want) 1 can of purple hull peas That is it. Cook them all separately, then mix. Thank you Mr. Birdwell :) |
I enjoy sports, binge watching TV, food, reading, and slightly bearded men.
