So against my good senses, we decided to do a couples survey. We did our answers separately, so one's answers wouldn't influence the other.
Obligatory couples selfie. What we really look like. No makeup, no hair, no bra.

Lisa- My favorite movie is A Christmas Story, but my favorite scene from a movie is in Pearl Harbor, when Cuba Gooding Jr's character Dorie Miller, during the attack grabs a 50 cal gun and shoots down aircraft. Just the emotion with all of what is going on, that one scene makes me cry out loud.
Well. I didn't think ya had it in you. (Johnny)
I'm your huckleberry.
Why, Johnny Ringo, you look like somebody just walked over your grave. (Doc)

Scott- Loyalty, honesty, and a sense of humor, Having stuff in common.
Can you give me a mock session of how you would discuss sex education when you have a child?
Lisa- This is how my mother did it for me. We are in a doctor's office waiting room. I am about 9 years old. There was a poster on the wall advertising safe sex. I ask her what a condom was. Her words I will never forget. "When a man is having sex sex sex (using air quotes) with a girl, it's what he puts on his *kind of taps my vagina* to keep a woman from getting pregnant". So yeah. Mine will be the opposite. I will have a book handy.
Scott- If it were a daughter there would be no talk, no sex, you're going to a convent. If it were a son, "if you get her pregnant Imma beat your ass".
*In hindsight, we would make the worst parents*
Your first crush – what drew you to her/him?
Lisa- He had a crush on me first.
Scott- Her personality.
Your first date – where did you go, what did you do and how long did the relationship last?
Lisa- It was a church event, and just a couple of months.
Scott- With our parents, in a Chinese restaurant. We had a long distance relationship for a while.
How have you coped with break-ups in the past?
Lisa- Not in a very PG manner.
Scott- Put it in the past, move on.
What has been your scariest dream? Which has been your most frequently recurring one?

Which has been the best decision you ever made?
Lisa- For once, putting what I want first instead of what was right, or what I was expected to do.
Scott- Marrying my wife.
Which is the decision you regret the most?
Lisa- Not moving home sooner to spend time with my Daddy. Being afraid to stand up to Scott and tell him how miserable I was, even though he knew it, and leave Alabama. I will never get that time back that I lost missing out on my sister's growing up and my Daddy's last good years.
Scott- Not going to college.

Scott- Cut my cell phone off. Call my brother. Plan us a nice trip. A nice vehicle, a nice house, some nice comfy shoes, new glasses, my own business.
*I asked him how he was going to call his brother with his cell phone off....*
If your house was on fire and you had a chance to grab only five things before leaving, they would be…
Lisa- I would grab my teddy bear from my uncle, my cup from my daddy, my dog, my purse, and yes I am superficial and would grab my phone.
Scott- This has happened to me before and then I could only grab my shoes. But, the animals, I would take photos (I asked him why, all of our stuff is online), my mother's jewelry box, my wife. But this is hypothetical, because when your house is on fire, you just get out.
If you were asked whom you would like to be born again as, the answer would be…
Lisa- Myself. I'd like to do it again.
Scott- I want to be myself so I could go it right this time.
Which is your favorite flavor of ice cream, your favorite junk food and your favorite dessert?
Lisa- Chocolate, ice cream, chips (particularly Cheese Puffs from Brookshires), and that Moulton lava cake from Chili's.
Scott- Vanilla, chips, cheesecake.
Whose wardrobe would you most like to possess and why?
Lisa- I would just prefer someone with style to dress me. Tracy does a good job, but I don't have that touch.
Scott- My own. I have good taste.
*OMG refer to my answer to Question 1 & 2, yo.*
The most embarrassing thing that ever happened to you was…
Lisa- Meeting Scott's family for the first time, I fell through a bad board in the porch. Fat girl hit the ground. Scott tried to catch me.
Scott- Embarrassment is a state of mind.
If our relationship doesn’t work out, do you think we can remain friends? If no, why not?
Lisa- Absolutely. If we can't be husband and wife, he will always be my best friend. That is inspiration for me to fight hard and make our marriage work. I don't know if I could live my life without him in it in some way. I don't think that if I did something bad enough for us to divorce that he would want me in his life.
Scott- I am not giving up, so I don't have an answer to this question.
Who are you closer to – your mom/dad - and why?
Lisa- My mother, she put forth the effort to have a close relationship with me.
Scott- My mother, we just had that bond.
Your favorite song of all times and why – is it because of the lyrics, because of the memories associated with it or just the whole package?
Lisa- "Fix You" by Coldplay. It came to me in a special time in my life.
Scott- "Seven Spanish Angels", Ray Charles and Willie Nelson. The whole package.
If somebody handed you a magic lamp and gave you three wishes, what would they be?
Lisa- I want my Daddy back for one day to let him know that one day he will have a granddaughter and be able to spend time with her. I want my loved ones to have wealth and health. I want to undo some decisions that I made a long time ago.
Scott- Everybody I love to be happy. Also healthy. Just one more day with my mother.
What upsets you most in a relationship and what makes you the happiest?
Lisa- I am tired of being the only grown up. Knowing that whatever I do, he'll be there.
Scott- Dishonesty. The good times and feelings, the little things.
What is your perception of how people see you?
Lisa- Way more funny and stable than I actually am.
Scott- Some see me as funny.
If someone told you they saw me with another guy/girl, what would your first reaction be – he/she’s cheating on me, she/he’s probably an old friend, or I need to get to the bottom of this?
Lisa- An old friend.
Scott- I have to get to the bottom of this.
Can you think of something you craved for when you were young and were denied?
Lisa- Not really. I didn't ask for much, and I knew what were within our limits.
Scott- A motorcycle mini bike type thing.
Have you ever found yourself attracted to someone of the same sex?
Lisa- Yes, but not in a sexual way
Scott- Not really. *brings up his man-crush Jason Statham, LOL*
So there you go.
Take it with your boo.
