This is going to be an exciting month! I believe that I have spent all but 2 days since my departure from the hotel with my sisters and Lily. Lily hasn't been to Kistachie National Forest, so Rebecca wanted to surprise her. It was such a day. Our Trip to Kisatchie The next morning I was so tired, sore, and still had sand in my mouth. I see on my phone, "hey do you want to go to a magic show?" Well NO. And then we went to a magic show. Scott was off the weekend, and we honestly didn't do much besides grocery shop and watch sports. I went to church on Sunday, and we napped. A lot. I did spend most of Friday combing through job postings, and submitting my resume. Monday morning at 8:30am, I got a call wanting me to come in and put in an application. She ended up giving me my assessment test and doing an interview. I start tomorrow! I am deceased. I prayed so hard for this, and I am praying for strength to be able to do this. It is nothing that I have done before, but I am pretty teachable, so we shall see. I wish that I would have kept a journal from my first day of working until now. I am nowhere near where I need to be learning all of this, I have never been in finance before, I had no idea how much legal stuff there was to learn, you have to have a basic business math sense, and you have to be professional and tight lipped about what goes on in your office. How do I have this job? I do like it, as I said I have a ton to learn, but it is starting to make a lot more sense. I did sign a confidentiality agreement, so I can't talk about anything that goes on or who comes in, BUT, I will sneak out that a woman (that I know) came in pretending to be her own (made up) twin sister. This is going to be fun :) :) I did have another first this month (as an adult), I got into my first car accident. Nothing major, I was just scared and wanted my mom, lol. The cop asked for my DL and registration, I was like, is that in my glove box? I was driving home from work, the Jeep in front of me stopped, I stopped, and then boomshakala, the SUV behind me did not. She admitted fault, and the insurance check is in the mail. I don't really have much of anything to tell, didn't get to see the family much, aside from Sundays at church. Lily makes me proud: Jacob makes my heart swell. Scott and I are in an ongoing battle over who should get to put their keys next to the light switch. We have called a truce, and decided that whoever has to leave for work the earliest gets the spot. He leaves at 5:30am, I don't leave until 7:45, but his days off rotate, and I am Mon-Fri. Tomorrow is my day!!!!!!!!!!!!!! LOL That is all I have for now! Send happy thoughts and good vibes to one another. People need more love in this world.
